How come Blacks and Whites are the two most common groups to have fights?

I am neither(East Indian) and I have been living here in America. and noticed they both hate eachother and just cant get along. Whites tell me this and Blacks tell me this... The men are different however they will go after the women(In college, I seen White men usually dont date them, but i seen many White guys have one nights with black chicks, Blck guys do date White women)... But whenever theyre around eachother I can feel tension in the air... Why is this?!
