Does she like me? Did the cuddle mean anything? (read the other question)?

I asked a question about my chick freind and different people said different things. One person said to kiss her and I did before I left that night she cuddled with me (previouse debate whether or not I would) and I couldve sworn she smiled but idk could just be in my head, and a bung of people said to ask her out. I never officialy did but I did tell her I liked her and realy wanted a chance to be with her and that no matter what I'd always be her freind, and she told me she was afraid to loose my freindship, and that she didn't wanna date me because her ex is comeing bak an she thinks she's still in love with him... An I'm not sure if any of the old answers are valid.
